Joe was the former owner and president of Speranza Brickwork Inc. Under his 25 year tenure, the company performed over 500 million dollars of masonry in the tri-state area. They were well known for the quality of their work, efficiency and safety. His approach to safety on their projects led to the company carrying one of the lowest EMR safety ratings in the industry. In addition to safety, Joe takes pride in boasting that, under his leadership, they never missed a scheduled completion date. For example, he and his team completed the corporate head quarters of American Home Products , a 7 million dollar masonry project with over a 1,200,000 brick and 300,00 C.M.U., in 12 weeks with over 120 Masons on the project. The C.E.O. of American Home Products, Jack Stafford, was so delighted by Joe’s performance that he personally laid the one millionth brick on the project. The brick was engraved with his name and commemorated them occupying their new corporate headquarters ahead of schedule. Speranza Brickwork was also the mason of choice for the MetLife Stadium, home of the N.Y. Giants and Jets, the Prudential Center in Newark, home of the N.J. Devils, and the Red Bull Soccer Stadium in Harrison. His vast experience in the field, combined with the experience of working with the cost factors of almost every type of masonry product and project, provides him the ability to provide extremely accurate masonry estimates and proposals, as well as cost saving value engineering alternates for both clients and owners. He credits his livelihood to his father, who was a bricklayer and started Speranza Brickwork, as well as his grandfather, who was also a mason. Joe currently lives with his wife Karen, and his two children, Joe Jr. and Gianna.
